As our plane approached the airport in Hong Kong I was struck by the sheer size of the city—an urban beach paradise nestled in the mountains of southern China. A grim blanket of smog suffocated the city. A city with a bright future—if it can solve it’s pollution problems.
Hong Kong International Airport (see our guide to Hong Kong International Airport here) is a gem. Organized. Modern. Well designed. It stands out from the dozens of airports I’ve been to world wide.
